Are you concerned about the increase of gang and racial violence involving Vietnamese American youth? Please join a group of concerned members of the Vietnamese American community in a meeting with San Jose city officials from the Department of Neighborhood Services and from the City Council to discuss responses to this growing problem.
A planning meeting will be held at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, 3/8/95 at the office of the YES Program, 195 E. San Fernando St., on the corner of Fifth St., in downtown San Jose. At this meeting we will prepare to meet with city officials at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, 3/15/95 at the same location.
Please help demonstrate the Vietnamese community need to San Jose city officials and show your support for this effort by filling the room on 3/15/95. For further information contact prof. Hien Do at San Jose State Univ. (924-5747) or Akemi Flynn at the YES Program, U.S. Catholic Charities (280-6680).
