Hell
306. With one
denying truth there goes to hell
that one
who having done says "I did not".
Both of them
are making kammas base
are equal
after death.
306. Nói
láo ð÷a ð¸a ngøc
Có
làm nói không làm,
Cä hai
chªt ð°ng ðÆng,
Làm
ngß(c)i, nghi®p hÕ li®t.
307. Many
who wear the yellow robe
are unrestrained
in evil things,
these evil
ones by evil deeds,
in hell do
they arise.
307. Nhi«u
ngß(c)i khoác cà sa,
Ác
hÕnh không nhiªp phøc.
Ngß(c)i
ác, do ác hÕnh,
Phäi
sanh cõi иa ngøc.
308. Better
to eat a ball of iron
glowing as
flame of fire
than one
should eat country's alms
immoral and
unrestrained.

Cháy
ðö nhß than h°ng,
H½n
ác gi¾i, buông lung
Ån
ð° ån qu¯c ðµ.
309. Four
things befall that heedless one
sleeping
with one who's wed:
demerit gained
but not good sleep,
third is
blame while fourth is hell.

d§t theo v(r) ngß(c)i ;

h÷a, ngü không yên,

chê là thÑ ba,

ð¸a ngøc, thÑ b¯n.
310. Demerit's
gained and evil birth,
scared man
and women -- brief their joy,
the king
decrees a heavy doom:
so none should
sleep with one who's wed.

h÷a, ð÷a ác thú,

hoäng s(r), ít vui.

311. As blady
grass when wrongly grasped
the hand
does lacerate
so a mishandled
monastic life
drags one
off to hell.

b¸ h÷a ðÑt tay.

sa môn tà vÕy,
T¤t
b¸ ð÷a ð¸a ngøc.
312. Whatever
of kammas slack,
whatever
of vows corrupt,
a faltering
in the holy life
never brings
ample fruit.

313. If there's
aught that should be done
let it be
done then steadily,
in truth
a slack monastic life
all the more
stirs up the dust.

tång loÕn bøi ð(c)i.
314. Better
an evil deed not done
for misdeed
later on torments.
Better done
is deed that's good,
which done,
does not torment.
314. Ác
hÕnh không nên làm,
Làm
xong, ch¸u kh± løy,
Thi®n
hÕnh, ¡t nên làm,
Làm
xong, không ån nån.
315. Even
as a border town
guarded within
and without,
so should
you protect yourselves.
Do not let
this moment pass
for when
this moment's gone they grieve
sending themselves
to hell.
315. Nhß

Trong ngoài
ði«u phòng hµ
Cûng
v§y, phòng hµ mình,
Sát
na ch¾ buông lung.
Giây
phút qua, s¥u muµn.
Khi r½i
vào ð¸a ngøc.
316. They
are ashamed where shame is not
but where
is shame are not ashamed
so by embracing
evil views
beings go
to an evil birth.

nh§n tà kiªn,
Chúng
sanh ði ác thú.
317. They
are afraid where fear is not
but where
is fear are unafraid,
so by embracing
evil views
beings go
to an evil birth.

ðáng s(r), lÕi s(r),
Ðáng
s(r), lÕi th¤y không,
Do ch¤p
nh§n tà kiªn.
Chúng
sanh ði ác thú.
318. Faults
they see where fault is not
but where
is fault they see it not,
so by embracing
evil views
beings go
to an evil birth.
318. Không
l²i, lÕi th¤y l²i,
Có
l²i, lÕi th¤y không,
Do ch¤p
nh§n tà kiªn,
Chúng
sanh ði ác thú.
319. A fault
they understand as such,
they know
as well where fault is not,
so by embracing
righteous views
beings go
to a happy rebirth.
319. Có
l²i, biªt có l²i,
Không
l²i, biªt là không,
Do ch¤p
nh§n chánh kiªn,
Chúng
sanh ði cõi lành.
