How to Read Vietnamese Texts

Hoa Sen uses the freeware Fonts from the Trichlor Group, also called VISCII standard fonts.  Three fonts are used : U-Hoai 1.1, VI Times and VI Minh-Quan. We also uses the freeware Vietnamese VISCII Dynamic Fonts from VietFont.

1. If you use Netscape Navigator 4.0, 4.5, 4.6 ; Netscape Communicator 4.0, 4.5, 4.6 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, 4.5 you do not need to down load VISCII Fonts.  Just set up as follow:

Netscape:
On the menu, choose [Edit]- [Preference] - [Font].
Select the [Font] .
Check the box [Use document specified font include Dynamic Fonts].
ChooseOK and restart Netscape.

Microsoft Internet Explorer
Just say "Yes" if your computer ask you:  "Do you want to install and run Bistream TrueDoc Dynamic Fonts Server?".

Note
Microsoft IE 5.0 does not support Dynamic Font if you up-grade from 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 or 4.5. It means IE 5.0 supports Dynamic font only if your computer don't have any of its old version use before, such as you purchase a brand new computer.
