in simplest terms, the cdrom group is a non-profit organization, comprising of volunteers from over the world. through the media of CDROM, it functions as an indiscriminate propagator and preserver of cultural contribution by all individuals, organization, and communities.
this continuing project aims at recording the ideas, thoughts, views, and other cultural contribution of the vnese community. it seeks to propagate this unique cultural snapshot. it hopes to highlight technical as well as artistic achievements of communities and individuals all over the world. meant to be a cultural bridge and to serve the enpowerment and unity of all vnese communities, it also distributes updated revisions of all freeware in accordance with publicly stated means of freeware distribution.
all proceeds generated by this effort are donated to charities and/or collected toward the purchase of a community cdrom burner, serving the need of all technical and non-technical organizations without distinction to either national origin or political persuasion. the only usage requirement is that the use of this facility be directed toward community services.
