Lành thay, phòng hµ lßÞi.
361. right is restraint in the body,
restraint in speech is right,
right is restraint in the mind,
everywhere restraint is right.
The bhikkhu everywhere restrained
is from all dukkha free.

Lành thay, phòng hµ l(c)i,
Lành thay, phòng hµ ý.
Lành thay, phòng t¤t cä.

362. with hands controlled and feet controlled,
in speech as well as head controlled,
delighting in inward collectedness
alone, content, a bhikkhu's called.

Chª ngñ l(c)i và ð¥u,
Vui thích nµi thi«n ð¸nh,
еc thân, biªt v×a ðü,

363. whatever bhikkhu tongue-controlled
speaks wisely and who is not proud,
who theory and practice can expound,
sweet as honey is his speech.
363. TÖ kheo chª ngñ mi®ng,
V×a l(c)i, không c¯ng cao,
Khi trình bày pháp nghîa,
L(c)i l¨ d¸u ng÷t ngào.
364. the bhikkhu who in dhamma dwells,
in dhamma delighting and pondering,
remembering the dhamma -- he
does not decline from dhamma True.
364. V¸ tÖ kheo thích Pháp,
Mªn pháp, suy tß Pháp.
Tâm tß ni®m chánh Pháp,
Không r(c)i bö chánh Pháp.
365. he should not disdain his gains
nor live of others envious,
the bhikkhu who is envious
does not attain collectedness.
365. Không khinh ði«u mình ðß(r)c,
Không ganh ngß(c)i khác ðß(r)c,
TÖ kheo ganh tÜ ngß(c)i,
Không sao chÑng Thi«n иnh.
366. disdaining not his gains,
though little he receives,
pure of life and keen
that bhikkhu devas praise.

Không khinh ði«u mình ðß(r)c,
S¯ng thanh t¸nh không nhác,
Chß thiên khen v¸ này.
367. for whom there is no making "mine"
towards all name and form,
who does not grieve for what is not,
he's truly "bhikkhu" called.

Không ch¤p Ta, cüa Ta.
Không ch¤p, không s¥u não.

368. the bhikkhu in kindness abiding,

369. o bhikkhu bail this boat,
when emptied it will swiftly go.
Having severed lust and hate
thus to nibbana you'll go.
369. TÖ kheo, tát thuy«n này,
Thuy«n không, nh© ði mau.
Tr× tham, di®t sân h§n,
T¤t chÑng ðÕt Niªt Bàn.
370. five cut off and five forsake,
a further five then cultivate,
a bhikkhu from five fetter free
is called a "Forder of the flood".
370. ÐoÕn nåm [1], t× bö nåm [2],
Tu t§p nåm [3] t¯i thß(r)ng,
TÖ kheo c¡t nåm trói [4],
XÑng danh vß(r)t "bµc lßu" [5].
371. meditate bhikkhu! Don't be heedless!
Don't let pleasures whirl the mind!
Heedless, do not gulp a glob of iron!
Bewail not when burning, "This is dukkha"!
371. TÖ kheo, hãy tu thi«n,
Ch¾ buông lung phóng d§t,
Tâm ch¾ ð¡m say døc,
Phóng d§t, nu¯t s¡t nóng
B¸ ð¯t, ch¾ than kh±!
372. no concentration wisdom lacks,
no wisdom concentration lacks,
in whom are both these qualities
near to nibbana is that one.
372. Không trí tu®, không thi«n,
Không thi«n, không trí tu®.
Ngß(c)i có thi«n có tu®,
Nh¤t ð¸nh g¥n Niªt Bàn.
373. the bhikkhu gone to a lonely place
who is of peaceful heart
in-sees dhamma rightly,
knows all-surpassing joy.
373. Bß¾c vào ngôi nhà tr¯ng,
TÖ kheo tâm an t¸nh,
Th÷ hß·ng vui siêu nhân,
T¸nh quán theo chánh pháp.
374. whenever one reflects
on aggregates' arise and fall
one rapture gains and joy.
'Tis deathless for Those-who-know.
374. Ngß(c)i luôn luôn chánh ni®m,
Sñ sanh di®t các u¦n,
Ðß(r)c hoan hÖ, hân hoan,
Chï b§c b¤t tØ biªt.
375. Here's indeed the starting point
for the bhikkhu who is wise,
sense-controlled, contented too,
restrained to limit freedom ways,
in company of noble friends
who're pure of life and keen.
375. Ðây TÖ kheo có trí,
Tu t§p pháp cån bän
Hµ cån, biªt v×a ðü,
Gìn giæ cån bän gi¾i,
Thß(c)ng g¥n gûi bÕn lành,
S¯ng thanh t¸nh tinh c¥n.
376. one should be hospitable
and skilled in good behaviour,
thereby greatly joyful
come to dukkha's end.
376. giao thi®p khéo thân thi®n,
CØ chï mñc ðoan trang.
Do v§y hß·ng vui nhi«u,
S¨ dÑt m÷i kh± ðau.
377. just as the jasmine sheds
its shrivelled flowers all,
O bhikkhus so should you
lust, aversion shed.
377. Nhß hoa vassika [6],
Quång bö cánh úa tàn,
Cûng v§y v¸ TÖ kheo,
Hãy giäi thoát tham sân.
378. that bhikkhu calmed of body, speech,
calmed and well-composed of mind,
who world-enjoyments has renounced,
"one calmed" indeed is truly called.
378. Thân t¸nh, l(c)i an t¸nh,
An t¸nh, khéo thi«n t¸nh.
TÖ kheo bö thª v§t,
XÑng danh b§c t¸ch t¸nh.
379. by yourself exhort yourself!
By yourself restrain yourself!
So mindful and self-guarded too,
happily, bhikkhu, will you live.
379. Tñ mình chï trích mình,
Tñ mình dò xét mình,
TÖ kheo tñ phòng hµ,
Chánh ni®m trú an lÕc.
380. oneself is refuge of oneself
and one is a haven for oneself,
therefore one should check oneself
as a merchant with a splendid horse.
380. Tñ mình y chï mình,
Tñ mình ði ðªn mình,
V§y hãy tñ ði«u phøc,
Nhß khách buôn ngña hi«n.
381. the bhikkhu full of joy and faith,
bright in the Buddha's Teaching
can come to the place of Peace,
the bliss of conditionedness ceased.
381. TÖ kheo nhi«u hân hoan,
T¸nh tín giáo pháp Ph§t,
ChÑng cänh gi¾i t¸ch t¸nh,

382. surely that youthful bhikkhu who
strives in the Buddha's Teaching
illuminates all this world
as moon when free from clouds.
382. TÖ kheo tuy tu±i nhö
Siêng tu giáo pháp Ph§t,
Soi sáng thª gian này,
Nhß trång thoát khöi mây.
